Our Mission

St. Katharine Drexel Academy develops caring hearts and open minds to reach their full potential as innovative learners and servant leaders, within a Christ-centered, diverse Catholic community.

SKDA was chosen (among 43 schools) as the All are Welcome Inclusive Education Award, to honor our school for shaping our culture and striving to provide resources for an inclusive education, so that students with disabilities can be served.

Mrs. Nowland was recognized for her upcoming retirement after 35 years of service in our diocese.

Ms. Franklin was chosen as the ACT Fellow of the Year. As a member of ACT (Academy of Catholic Teaching), she is currently in graduate school at USD receiving her credential and masters and was chosen for her hard work and dedication to her students and to service.
